Dr. Wood has performed evaluations and provided expert testimony in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia and Philadelphia, Pennsylviana. She has been qualified as an expert in District Court in Montgomery County, Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. She has performed numerous evaluations and provided reports for attorneys seeking to clarify the psychological context in which crimes have been committed or civil disputes have occurred. She has a particular interest in cases in which either plaintiffs or defendants have experienced trauma and/or may have a history of alcoholism or another substance abuse disorder.
